About Lucas Weaver
I help serious professionals sound like themselves in English.
I am Lucas Weaver, founder of Fluency Unleashed. I work with lawyers, doctors, engineers, and other advanced professionals who already speak English, but want stronger business English communication for the moments that actually matter: meetings, presentations, interviews, client calls, and high-pressure conversations.

Why I Started
I stopped treating English like a school subject.
I started teaching English in Spain, later built an English school in the Netherlands, and eventually worked as Head of Product at a FinTech company.
Fluency Unleashed was founded in 2017, and I have been coaching professionals ever since. Over that time, I kept seeing the same thing: many people did not need another generic English course. They needed help using the English they already had in real business situations, with more clarity, control, and confidence.
That changed the way I teach. A good business English course should not make a capable professional feel like a beginner again. It should help them speak in a way that matches the level of their work.
The Problem I Kept Seeing
A lot of my students were already good at English.
They could read contracts, follow technical docs, write emails, and understand meetings. But when they had to speak, something changed.
They sounded slower than they were. Less precise than they were. Less senior than they were.
Not because they lacked intelligence or experience. Because their English communication skills had never been trained for pressure.
What changes under pressure
The sounds that make people ask you to repeat yourself.
The rhythm that makes your English harder to follow than it needs to be.
The phrases that sound softer, less direct, or less senior than you mean them to.
The moments where your fluency drops because the conversation starts moving fast.
How The Work Feels
We start by listening closely.
I pay attention to where your English starts working against you: pronunciation, rhythm, pacing, hesitation, phrasing, grammar under pressure, and the moments where your business communication feels harder than your actual work.
Business English coaching at Fluency Unleashed is not generic conversation practice. It is focused work on the business communication you need in your real professional life.
That can mean explaining ideas clearly, presenting your work, handling questions, disagreeing politely, leading meetings, interviewing, negotiating, and helping people trust what you are saying in English.
The goal is not perfect English. The goal is English that lets people hear your real level.
Who I Work With
Advanced professionals in law, medicine, and software.
Each field has its own pressure. The English you need for a negotiation is not the same English you need for a patient explanation or an architecture discussion.

Why Language Background Matters
I can hear patterns many English coaches miss.
If your first language is Spanish or Portuguese, your English is probably carrying some habits from that language: mouth position, rhythm, sentence structure, stress, or intonation.
Those habits are normal. But they can make your English harder to follow, less direct, or less confident than you intend.
The good news is that once you can hear and feel the difference, you can change it.
Next Step
If your English already works, but you know it could represent you better, start here.
Tell me about your role, where English feels hardest, and what you want to improve. I will point you toward the coaching path that makes the most sense.
